The Club maintains discussion groups so club members can easily share information and collaborate. The Club's discussion groups are hosted on Yahoo! Groups and membership is restricted to club members. Club members can also use the other features available, such as file and photo sharing.

Club members are welcome to join any of the Club's Yahoo! Groups, and they are especially encouraged to join and follow the raleighastro discussion group. Discussion groups can be followed through e-mail or on the web. Club members typically have messages delivered to their e-mail so they can actively participate in discussions and keep up with time sensitive topics, such as impromptu observing sessions.

To join a Yahoo! Group, you need a Yahoo! account. To create one, go to the Yahoo! Groups homepage, click Sign Up, and then follow the instructions. To join one of the Club's Yahoo! Groups, go to the appropriate Group using the link below, click the Join This Group! button, and then follow the instructions.
